favorite scene: This is always a tough one. His movies are full of them. For Field of Dreams, I'd say it was the scene where Annie says to Ray: "If you really believe you should do it, then you should do it." All that comes before that line and what comes afterwards. The look in his eyes when he hears that is enough to melt the entire North Pole. For humor, I like the one where he bumps his head on the end of the shelving unit in Terence Mann's loft and says, "This is so weird." This movie touches a place inside everyone who sees it that reverberates throughout our lives. I had the opportunity to visit the movie site last year on my way back from Deadwood. Just as the movie does, it still has the magic that makes you believe the incredible can happen!
